The 9th NextPV Workshop will take place online, from Nov. 24th to 27th 2020 ! Japanese and French partners will present their latest results during this event, which will cover their subjects of interest: from material to photovoltaic devices, also including systems and characterization.
To attend the event, get the detailed program or any other information, do not hesitate to contact us.
The International Research Project NextPV brings together the expertise and skills of major research laboratories in the field of photovoltaics in Japan and France. Joining their forces are the Research Center for Advanced Science and Technology (RCAST) of the University of Tokyo for the Japanese side, and for the French counterparts the teams of the Photovoltaic Institute of Ile de France (IPVF), the C2N, the ILV, the CNRS Photovoltaic Research Federation, the University of Bordeaux (UMR units LCPO, ISM and IMS), the LAAS and the IM2NP.
This whole program facilitates exchanges between these complementary scientific communities and has as its main objective the emergence of more efficient and sustainable photovoltaic systems than those currently on the renewable energy market. NextPV’s new research projects (starting January 2020) focuses on 4 main areas: (1) multi-junction cells based on III-V materials, perovskite, nitrides, ‘quantum dots’ and IR absorbers, (2) hybrid and perovskite solar cells, (3) integrated systems and hydrogen generation and (4) analytical methods, characterization and simulation of these solar cells.
